Create your first Mobile App - Intro to MIT App Inventor!

Auckland Council and the Tech Shed is organising a FREE community workshop at Glen Eden Library, Auckland.

Did you ever got curious about Mobile Apps and want to learn how to make mobile apps for your Android phone or tablet? Then make sure to attend this Workshop - it's presented by the MIT App Inventor certified - Master trainer!

MIT App Inventor is a popular educational tool for learning how to code, with more than 10 million users, worldwide. It is a blocks-based programming language with a development environment that runs in a browser, to design and build mobile apps. During this workshop, the students will be exposed to application concepts starting from UI/UX design to actual implementation of the application, all using the free visual programming platform MIT App Inventor to create their own functioning mobile applications to use on their mobile devices.

Please Note: Participants are encouraged to come to the workshop with a laptop and also an Android mobile device to use in the workshop. If you do not have a suitable device, then you will be provided one for use during the workshop.

Background experience in coding: None required

Limited seats, booking for the workshop is essential.
