Coding with Electronics Workshop

This workshop is meant to be an entry to the interesting world of Arduino and computer programming/ coding. The sessions during this workshop will introduce participants to the basics of electronics, components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes and transistors in a fun and interactive way.  The course will also include fundamentals of computer programming based on the Arduino. This way the students will be able to visualise the program or code using the power of Arduino.

All the tutorials are based on practical tasks with theoretical introductions at the beginning , in other words a good dose of electronics and computer programming fundamentals made simple, followed by hands on approach by building simple and programming custom electronic circuits during the sessions.

Robot building for Beginners

The focus of this course is to use Robots as a learning tool in order to create a perfect mixture of fun and imagination that can help expand a young creative mind and also develop teamwork skills. Students will be introduced to basics of both robotic and electronics design in a fun and interactive way, by creating a robot from ground up.

Electronics Classes

The focus of this Electronic course is to introduce the course participants with electronics fundamentals such as Voltage, Current, types of electronic passive components, their properties, Transistors and IC’s in a FUN and INTERACTIVE fashion - in other words less theory more hands on project based learning. The course would also give students with knowledge of designing their own electronics circuit and boost their confidence in soldering a PCB by making small electronic circuit in every session.

Introduction to Arduino IOT Workshop

This workshop is meant to be an entry level course to the interesting world of Arduino and Internet of Things (IOT). The sessions during this workshop will introduce participants to the basics of electronics, components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes and transistors in a fun and interactive way and will also include fundamentals of computer programming based on the Arduino. This way the students will be able to visualise the program or code using the power of Arduino.

This workshop would provide the participants with a hands-on Arduino learning experience by building real world IOT projects. The workshop will also introduce participants to an online platform called MIT App Inventor in order to make an Android app. This Android app would then be used to demonstrate IOT automation using Arduino such as remotely control an LED Light, activate an Alarm/Buzzer and receive information of remote events such as temperature. The session will also include discussion about Arduino and its uses in robotics projects followed by a brief demo.

Android App development for Beginners

In this workshop the participants learn the fundamentals of Android App development and create custom Android Apps using the awesome capabilities of the MIT App Inventor platform  to build fully functional Apps for smartphones and tablets.
